Fans could return to stadiums in July

Turkish Football Federation President Nihat Ozdemir has openly expressed the desire and opportunity to see fans on the steps of Turkish Superleague team stadiums within July.

Even though football in Turkey as in most European countries has been suspended and is expected to begin on June 12th, the president is highly optimistic about the rapid return of fans to stadiums, which in other European countries where football has stopped have “fears” still speak with dates within this summer.

“Even though the decision to play without spectators is still in place, we hope to review fans on the stadium steps starting in July,” said Ozdemir, “Sky Sports”
