EP ZUL: Constitutional Court suspends the Law for Public Officials for Second

The Constitutional Court has imposed temporary measures for the second time of the Law for Public Officials.
With the Constitutional decision, this law will be suspended until June 30th 2020.
On November 8, 2019, the Ombudsman had asked the Court to assess the compliance of several provisions, the provisions of the Law with the Constitution of Kosovo.
The Law on Public Officials had entered into force on September 12, 2019, while at the decision of the Constitutional Court, its execution was temporarily suspended on November 19th of that year.
The provisional measure for the first time of this Law has been continued until April 2020, while now this Court continued its suspension until June 30th.
The trial, in support of Article 116.2 of the Constitution, of Article 27 of the Law for the Constitutional Court and the 57th rule of the labour order, unanimously decided: I. T A V EAST the provisional measure imposed with the interim decision in the case of November 19th, 2019, on November 2, 2020, with the decision on February 26, 2020, until June 30th 2020; 2 / 1 TA SHOW THE PEACE AND the total application of Law No. 06/L-14 for public officials in length defined at the I” point, says the Constitutional announcement.
This Law had abolished the Law on Civil Service, and several innovations, such as appointments to senior leadership positions, terms of commissions with mandates and others, have been introduced.
