Northern Macedonia's chief mufti, Sylejman Rexhepi, had on 9 May withdrawn 1m euros from Macedonia's Islamic Community without providing any clarification, which today reportedly married a young girl 50 years earlier.
This has been made known by some Albanian media there, which have written that Rexhepi's enthronement occurred last night.
They have also published exclusive photos from the crowning of BFI chief Sulejman Rexhepi and his new wife. The crowning took place in Ramadan.
Reis Rexhepi's new wife is 50 years younger, reports Liberty.
