Rome is now breathing freely, as football players have given up wages for the next four months.
Gialoros like most other clubs are facing a crisis after the football stop from the Codavi-19 pandemic.
Roman footballers have decided to give up their salaries and will not be paid in the next four months to enable Rome to hold other club workers.
It was Rome's own club that through an official announcement has confirmed that the players have given up wages.
We always talk about the unity of Rome. Voluntarily, players and coach Fonseca and staff have given up taking salaries for four months”.
This has proven once again that we are all together at this time pandemic”, Rome's general director, Guido Fienga, said.
The extraordinary gesture of Rome's players has been hailed by verdant fans but also by all over the football world.
From this gesture of players and technical staff, Rome is expected to save up to 30m euros, which, along with taxes, would amount to 45m.
We remember two other Italian teams of Juventus and Parma had done the same.
Rome's footballers' example is expected to be taken by two team players from Milan, Inter and Milan.
