So the official site of Judo's European Union (EJU) has assessed Saturday.
SEE has published a text for our Olympic champion and her days in this extraordinary situation.
The “in extraordinary times is called for extraordinary actions by extraordinary people. It is impossible to avoid the fact that we are all living in extraordinary times now. Meanwhile for the Olympic champion, Majlinda Kelmendi, one of the most extraordinary jungles in the last decade, keeping things ordinary as much as possible is a priority”, EJU wrote.
The European Union has also praised Majlinda as one of the most successful jungles of all time in the category of up to 50 pounds [52 kg].
Majlinda spoke of her days in pandemic time.
I'm home during this difficult time. I live near our training center and I don't have to leave for training. We're eleven jungles living near the center. We're going nowhere but to the training center and back to our homes. We don't mix with anyone else. We're fine and our families are in good health. We all hope that the current situation will end in the near future and we will go back to our 48x1> routine, Kelmendi said.
The Olympic champion has shown that he does not miss any exercises and that he exercises heavily with the Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova. It has shown that the Judo team walked through the mountains, constantly keeping distance from others. Majlinda is feeling good and in shape.
She is lacking the tension and emotions that compete and also the confrontation with other jungles.
This time out of competition has given me the opportunity to reflect on certain things in my career and improve my concentration. Of course I thought about Rio 2016. There have been difficult times after the triumph of the Olympics, with several consecutive injuries. But I've managed to get back strong and find my way to the podium. I was especially pleased with the return to Abu Dhabi, where I handed over the finals for the injury. I went on to win in Tashkent, where I was very pleased with the way I prevailed. I was happy with the world's bronze medal, which confirmed that I am on the right track”, Majlinda said.
