Bahtiri and Rakiq hold phone conversations, speak of preventing corruption from spreading in Mitrovica

South Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri has held a telephone conversation with North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakiq.

Bahtiri and Rakiq talked about the current situation and preventive measures for the spread of the COVID-19 virus in that part.

The first of South Mitrovica confirmed that he is ready for co-operation and has come to the aid of all citizens in that part with all the capacities and opportunities our municipality possesses.

“Mayor Bahtiri and Mayor Rakiq agreed to be co-operative in successful management of the situation following the spread of pandemic in the northern part, putting aside politics and working as hard as possible in preventing this virus, as well as also urging all citizens to follow instructions and recommendations from the relevant” institutions.
