In São Paulo, the city with the largest number of confirmed cases and deaths, the chairman's office announced that 2,000 beds will be added to the ão Pacambuwi Stadium and the Anhembi Convention Centre over the next few weeks.
Something similar has happened to other Brazil stadiums, as has in Europe, with Zagreb in Croatia.
