The International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Tuesday decided to postpone the Olympics “Tokio 2020” for next summer. The decision to postpone has reasoned with the protection of sportsmen's health from Coronavirus, the pandemic that has already affected the whole world. But prior to the IOC, it was the European Football Confederacy (UEFA) that made a decision about the future of football.
U n EFA, days ago pushed the European Championship for 2021, also decided that national championships would end at the end of June. UEFA also set June 4th as the date when the League of Nations pletophary match between Northern Macedonia and Kosovo will be played in Skopje.
It's just the Belarus football championship that hasn't put up with activity so far, despite the spread of the coronary. Other champions, as well as Kosovo's, have already been suspended until an indefinite term.
Kosovo club football players continue to train individually in their homes at this time of isolation. It is not known when they will be able together to hold 11 matches in the final phase of this edition, but also in the semi-final series of the Kosovo Cup.
However, Kosovo Football Federation chairman (FFK), Agim Ademi, is confident that the championship could resume next month. But clubs are a little skeptical that competitions could resume during April.
I'm pretty sure it'll start early so we don't beat our clubs to fight every three days. And, if it's gonna be an unaffordable load for clubs, of course we're gonna ask for a U. EFA to accept us another time of”, Ademi said.
