The coronavirus pandemic has brought the whole world down, and FIFA is running to save football with several plans.
According to a New York Times source near FIFA, this institution is studying the possibility of implementing a “Plani Marshall” to assist economically clubs that have been forced to discontinue activity.
“We confirm that FIFA is working on the possibility of providing assistance to the football community worldwide after it has made a global assessment of the financial impact this pandemic will have on football”.
FIFA has nearly 2.4 billion euros ready for emergency use.
Details of the plan have not yet been revealed, but the situation remains to be analysed by FIFA, who has decided to hear complaints.
