And the chairman of The PSD, and Albin Kurti's former right-hand arm, Dardan Moliqaj, has reacted following recent developments instead of dealing with the eventual withdrawal of American troops from Kosovo and the ban on financing projects from the US.
Through a Facebook post, Mr. Moliqaj has said that the Republic of Kosovo is the result of civic efforts for freedom and independence, and that these efforts have been realised when favourable international circumstances have been created, which are more related to the US. ”
Therefore, according to Molyqaj, the tax should not be removed because others are telling us this, but first because the outcome of dialogue with an agreement that permanently closes all open issues with Serbia is Kosovo's vital interest.
Until first The PSD has said Prime Minister Kurti should go either through the Parliament or protests, adding that he no longer has the right to decide on the country's fate, writes Periscope.
Moliqaj and PSD had repeatedly said that by getting to know Kurt closely, they had learned that he could cause great risks to the country.
Below you have his full Facebook post:
These circumstances are more related to the United States. The crucial moments when our aspirations are realised are directly linked to American foreign policy. The 1999 bombings, but so are the declaration of independence.
The situation created in recent days tells us about the lack of vision faced dialogue with Serbia. This lack of vision is being conveyed to an absurd abstention of the Government due to dialogue.
The tax should not be removed because others are thus telling us, but first because the outcome of dialogue with an agreement that once for all time closes all open issues with Serbia is Kosovo's vital interest.
The United States and Kosovo have no geopolitical differences that could justify confrontation. Kurt is not keeping the tax because he is not wanting a specific agreement, but because his obsession with Hashim Thaci has lost his sight. This obsession is leading us to fully unnecessary advantages and dangers. Someone who has no vision or blueprint for the future of the country, who accuses at all times, but does responsibilities, does not need Kosovo. Someone who resists, to surrender then without any effect for the good of the country simply because he observed the danger for himself, is the impending danger of the country.
We don't owe it to him because you're doing it for yourself. Kurt has to go through the convention or the protests. Any tax withdrawal is now preparation for the next risk, therefore it no longer has the right to decisions on the fate of the country.
