Thaci: UPI has historic role in raising national awareness

Through a Facebook post, he wrote that half a century of academic life has been done in the service of emancipation, education, and modernisation of our society.

According to him, the University of Pristina played a historic role in establishing our national and political awareness in the past three decades.

Thaci says this institution of knowledge and resistance made extraordinary contributions to Kosovo's freedom and independence.

On the 50th anniversary of the establishment, we express deep respect and consideration for all teachers, directors, workers and students who contributed in different forms, not only to strengthening the basic academic dimension of the UP, but also to its positive impact on the national, political and social plains. Today, when the 50th anniversary of the UP, students, professors, and all academic staff is solemnly marked, we express our most sincere congratulations on the belief that the beginning of the next half century will be even more successful in the challenges of Kosovo of 21”, he wrote.
