Around two hours the Kosovo Telecom workers have protested before the government. In protest they went out after not yet receiving the monthly salaries of October.
But as they protested the object came out first of the government, Avdullah Hoti, and this prompted the reaction of protesters who cheered “heines”.
Protesters insisted they would not disperse until they meet with representatives of the government, where Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri appeared ahead.
But they didn't want him. Protesters asked to meet Hoti, referring to him as Tahiri's “chief”.
They asked Tahiri where he has “chief”, adding that Hoti would meet if he had called Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
A protester's statement was “tell the chief to come and meet, that with Vuciqi is the target”, one of the protesters says.
Another protester is heard to say that “Call me Vuciqi goes to the site”.
And since Telekom workers continued to seek to meet with government representatives, the Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuci, also came out.
Kuci promised protesters that they are working to resolve the issue.
