Milan's attacker was present when this statue opened in October of last year, but angered Malmo's fans by buying shares in the rival club, Hammarby, and saying he was going to make that biggest club in Scandinavian.
Ibrahimovic made a name in Malmo before enjoying a trophy career in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, England, France and the United States.
In an attack before Christmas, vandals cut off his statue's nose, but this week's attack is the most serious one.
Only his feet are left on the base of the statue of Ibra, after his whole body has been broken and thrown to the ground.
The 38-year-old is expected to debut for Milan tomorrow in a Serie A match.
