In honor of the already felt basketball player Kobe Bryant, The NBA has announced that a new format of the All-Star match, “will increase the level of competition, bring greater emotions and make the outcome of each quarter worth for the charity association”.
All-Star match will take place at United Center in Chicago on 16 February
A new fourth quarter format will honour the NBA champion and the legend of Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant.
New Format:
Both teams, led by LeBron James and Giannis Antetokoumpo, will play for Chicago-based organisations aimed at improving communities.
- They'll race to win each of the first three quarters they'll start by 0.0 and last for 12 minutes.
The organizations selected by the winning team in each quarter will receive 100 grand.
- Fourth quarter will be more special.
The winner will have to add 24 points to the number of points achieved by the leadership team to three quarters of the parade, since Kobe Bryant had kept the fanella by 24 during his career. For example, if the result accumulated by the first three quarters will be 100:05, the winner would have to score 124 points first. The match will have specific time, but the winner will be selected when certain points are reached. The winning team will donate $200,000 to an organization that will choose it itself. /Periscope. com/
