Vetevendosje Movement MP, formerly nominated for deputy prime minister, Hakki Abazi, has indicated that the Serbian List will be part of Kurti Government.
In an interview for Online Economy, Ahaz has said that he guarantees this right to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
I think it's within the context of the discussions that are being done in a continuous way for the coalition with the Democratic League is the constitutional provision that the Serbian List as the representative of the Serb community is part of the government and that it concludes, there is nothing new except these discussions, he said.
Ahaz has reiterated the VV's position regarding the position of chief parliament, which he is considering irreversible.
He thinks this position will not be an obstacle to forming the coalition with the LDK.
It is a decision the parliament has made for which 75 Kosovo MPs have voted. It is the first decision made, it is not easy to return this decision to become part of the political agreement, and that's the only reason we're here. But I think that by the constitutional term of government creation this will not be the problem of reaching agreement with the LDK and it is an issue that can be discussed to overcome the problems and obstacles that are under way.
Abazi denies that the intervention of the QUINT countries in reaching agreement between the two parties, saying neither side has asked for that.
There was no request from either side to have involved the states of the QUINT to reach the final agreement, and I don't believe there should be an invasion of the international community directly in reaching the agreement. Of course we are in a common process of institution creation, but that does not mean that they will have a role in creation since the parties are very large, but the programming agreement, but also on key issues, is done. It's small issues that have actually remained in processing to reach the conclusion of the deal, Abazi has said for eo.
