Wessel: Legalisation of illegal construction will give boost to the economy by unblocking 10 billion euros in capital

Speaking of legalizing construction without permission, Wessel has said that those buildings and residences have served as a simple accommodation where people live, but not as capital. He has said that thanks to the possessive sheets they will be able to buy, sell or rent legally and can take credit for their businesses, leaving the house as collateral in banks.

This initiative, according to Wessel, will unblock about 10 billion euros of construction without permission, bringing them into circulation and providing tremendous impetus to our economy.

This is Veselin's full status for his visit to the Trima Quarter in Prizren:

For me it is always a pleasure to return to the Trimese Quarter in Prizren and to meet with numerous Democratic Party of Kosovo activists there. I talked to them about the Anti-Corruption Plan, stopping at a point that specifically affects them, legalising construction without permission.

I told them that in future governance we will improve the existing legal base to ensure accelerated legalisation of construction without permission within two years with only 1 euro per square meter, if they do not affect property or public interest. The same is true of residences for citizens who do not yet have possessive sheets.
