Nearly two months after the incident, Ashley Smith, 30, and Jordan Northover, 26, are now charged.
In a statement issued by police, both are indicated to be facing charges of attempted robbery and threatening a man with guns in a public place, while Smith is also charged with carrying cannabis.
Smith, who is in custody, is set to appear at the Snaresbrook Crown Court on 3 October, while Northover will be shown through video at the Highbury Corner Magic Court on 25 September.
