Polish President Andreze Duda spoke against American President Donald Trump's idea to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the upcoming US G7 summit in 2020, citing Russia's invasion of a part of Ukraine.
Must we have an approach between business and use-+ towards Russia? I don't think we should act like there's nothing happening, Duda stressed, answering a question during a joint press conference with US vice president Mike Pence.
The issue concerning Putin's invitation was cited by Trump at the conclusion of the G7 summit in Biarrriz, France, while other members opposed. Poland is not a member of the group.
Russia was excluded from what was then G8 following the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea Peninsula, condemned by the international community. / A T S/
