BetVcitor worked with the biomedicine department at Leeds University. They analyzed 25 Leeds United fans during the three main matches of last season of Championship, the second level of football in England.
In all, 25 football fans, between the ages of 20 and 62, were tested to discover football escort ephekets in stadiums in one person's health.
Participants split into three participating groups: Leeds United fans for 0-10 years, 2030 years and 40+ years.
These groups were then analysed physically and psychologically during the matches at Brentford, and the semifinals for the play-offs of promotion at Premierliga, against Derby County.
Researchers analyzed heart rate, blood pressure, and changes in the mood of fans.
Heart rate was measured two days before each match to understand the average beating of fans, then before the match, after the first and immediately after the end of the match. Participants also answer questions about their spirituality.
According to this study, escorting your club to the stadium affects lowering blood pressure and serves as almost cardiovascular training. Psychologically, the team's favorite victory improves the fan situation for at least 24 hours, while defeat affects grief for a longer time.
