Shaqiri has recently declared he is not satisfied with his current situation at the club. He's only played 11 minutes with the first team of this season, and the one in England's Super Cup match against Manchester City, when he executed a penalty for the penalty.
Shaqiri has not appeared at any Liverpool match since then, including two in the league and one for Europe's Supercupa. Speculations about his future at the club are continuing.
On Wednesday afternoon, Liverpool posted a video of Sadio Manes, Joel Matip and Shaqiri showing their skills. The video received a number of Liverpool fans who have shown support for Shaqiri. They have demanded that Shaqiri activate at the weekend against Arsenal. “Let Shaqiri play”, has been one of the fans' calls.
It was reported earlier that Shaqiri's team is expressing interest in Ligue 1, Monaco.
