Over four tons of drugs (Kokaine) worth 1 billion euros were being transported from Montevideo -Urugway to Belgium, when they were caught by authorities during a routine check, the BBC writes, broadcast Periscopi.
The shipment, marked as soy beans, was hidden in over 200 black sports bags. The goods have been destroyed by strict security, officials said.
German officials said the discovery reflects their increased ability to break up international drug smuggling.
