Hoxhaj: No Pre-election coalitions with no parliamentary party

Hoxhaj in an interview for Kosovo Press says that continuation and change is part of their political philosophy, while adding that under the PDK's list of MPs there will be new names.

Our “QE has been every time the PDK needs to change what is necessarily necessary to change. The phenomenon of corruption is something reflected in the president's will that this phenomenon be fought within the political life of Kosovo. But, at the same time, we will preserve what must be preserved within a political party. Continuing and changing is part of our political philosophy. Of course there will be new names on the PDK list, there will be people who represent moral, patriotic, professional and civic values... You must expect what a complete and complete list there will be PDK. The list, of course, is a list drawn up by the prime minister's candidate, who fights and is in battle to get the mandate of citizens to lead Government. Entering and not getting people on the list is a matter of individual will. Therefore, I cannot prejudge who can enter or not enter the list, that it is a kind of combination of the will of both the president and the individual will of a candidate who could be deputy of the Kosovo Assembly”, Hoxhaj says.

Hoxhaj told Kosovo Press and pre-election coalitions, while saying that according to their polls, they are the biggest party in the country.

“Pre-election coalitions have confirmed only one thing. That all fear the Democratic Party of Kosovo. We are the biggest party in the country according to our polls, but according to political organisation... In these elections we go with the PDK logo, the PDK slogan as the largest political subject, but are welcome and other small non-parliamentarians parties”, says Deputy Chairman Hoxhaj.

Hoxhaj also listed their priorities as regards the 6 October elections, saying the first priority is economic development.

The country's first “priority is economic development, and economic development depends on the rule of law and on fighting corruption as a phenomenon. The second priority will be education and health. Since Kosovo is a small state and the needs of citizens for such states are great for these sectors. The third priority will be the quality of life that includes various areas of life. But the main attention will be about economic development, employment, education, health, security, not only the security of Kosovo's sovereignty, which is first priority, but as far as cyber security or food”, Hoxhaj says.
