Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have shared the last 10 “Golden Lands”, and have shown no signs of slowdown despite heading west of their career.
Until it's almost impossible to prove who is better than the other, it's possible to reveal who is most admired, the Periscope broadcasts.
“YouGov” has directed a study to find the world's most popular figures.
More than 42,000 people were interviewed to compile the list and only two athletes are on top 20s.
Cristiano Ronaldo is seventh, with 4.3% of the people expressing admiration for him.
That means he is more popular than Lionel Messi, who ranks ninth on the list with 3.8%.
However, the two football supersights lag behind the man who tops Bill Gates, with Barack Obama being second, while actor Jackie Chan is third.
