The commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 121st Qumanova Brigade, Ramiz Qariqi, known as the Lion Commander, has been interviewed today by the Special Court.

The government was invited by the Special Court this month to the quality of the suspect.

He, this month has been invited by the Special Court and has been asked to hand over all documents he has from the time he served as commander.

He has said that the KLA war has been clean and anti-intangulatory, and that this will be witnessed in the special Tributal.

Curly: By telling the truth, I will defend the war the KLA has fought

“This process which our government itself has signed for alleged allegations that there has been an irregular struggle, I think it's not bad. For the KLA it's good we're going to go clear up some issues they suspect the KLA was an unfair fight. Especially for me personally, I'm very honored to go out today and testify to the war because by telling the truth, I will defend the war that the NLA has fought”, Qariqi said.

Qariqi said that in the absence of his passport, his interview was conducted in Pristina.

The reason I had a passport. I'm on the list where I have a problem with Serbia, on that Interpol list, then I was told that these guys are coming in here, just because of my passport, nothing else. Otherwise I was summoned to The Hague”, he said.

He has said it is Serbs who have taken part in the war that must be tried because they are really committed crimes and genocide in Kosovo.

Commander Luanan has claimed to have been among the rare commanders on the front. He said he does not regret what he has done in protecting the country, and that if there is war again in Kosovo, he would be willing again to defend freedom.

Ramiz Qariqi, who has long ago testified to the Hague tribunal, has said that if even at the Special Court then he will tell the truth through which the world will know that the KLA war was right.
