After handing over to the Constitutional Court on what happens after his resignation, Ramush Haradinaj has appeared at the media conference.

He has said he has called on the Constitution to act as soon as possible, though it is in advance that the Constitutional Court has a 60-day deadline until Haradinaj returns an answer.

He at the media conference has said that the country must go to the polls as soon as possible because it needs time to meet voters and now has to do state affairs”.

As head of the government, I have no interest in coming to the government office, nor why it's cool, but I'm here because it's a responsibility. I need time to go mass voters, mass branches, mass structure, now I have to do state affairs”, he said.

“assured the citizens of the country that it will not allow vacuum, but will receive more security answers from the Constitutional Court. I'm a retired prime minister. The act of resignation is the prime minister's decision in office. We've directed you to the Constitutional Court to prove what that means then”, Haradinaj said, writes Periscopi.

Different, Former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj announces he has surrendered to Constitutional Court request to interpret his act of resignation from the prime minister's post.

Dear citizens, I have submitted to the Constitutional Court today the request for interpretation of my act of resignation from the post of prime minister of the country and the definition of the government's competencies and operation after this act. The purpose of the request is not only to seek clarification of the judicial situation created after my resignation, and with that, to avoid institutional vacuum, but also to avoid this interpretation by the Constitutional Court to clarify similar situations in the future”, Haradinaj writes on Facebook.

He says this requirement concerns testimony Haradinaj wants regarding institutional responsibilities until the new government is elected.

“Sending this issue to the Constitutional Court is evidence of institutional responsibility, for Government to act within the constitutional and legal framework, and therefore not allow institutional vacuum until the new government is elected. I hope that due to emergency, the Court will decide soon. Whatever that decision is, I will respect it. At the same time, it calls on the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Parliament and political parties to take appropriate action to declare parliamentary elections”, Haradinaj writes.

We remember that last week, when the government in its resignation held a meeting led by Ramush Haradinaj, it has been sharply rejected.

The PDK, through its ministers, such as Uran Ismaili Bridge, Abelard Tahiri and Bedri Hamza, but also Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, have said such a demand is unnecessary to launch into the Constitutional.

But other ministers, from other parties, were not in favour of that idea of Haradinaj, to take the Government, which led up to a few days ago to Constitution.

Regarding that requirement, opposition parties have also reacted. Vetevendosje, deputy Albulen Haxhiu, respectively, has said that under Article 113 of the Constitution of Kosovo, Haradinaj, can neither be a party addressing the Constitutional Court, because according to her, he is already a resigned prime minister.
