Pristina police units, in the continuation of labour intensifying, on strengthening and disciplining participants in communications, aimed at boosting road safety, and the professional management of traffic in the capital, have undertaken a series of operational measures.
Numerous punitive measures (records and seizures) have been undertaken in terms of both coping with the flow of vehicle movement and we face pedestrian movement, both in the city and outside.
But seeing that there are a considerable number of counters who do not respect the traffic signs for parking, as well as the citizens' complaints about blocking sidewalks in the city, Pristina police units, since 10/06/2019, will begin implementing the operational plan, exclusively seen for cleaning sidewalks from parking lots where they are not allowed.
The plan will be extended throughout the capital's road space, and the tolerance for counteraveries will be zero.”, media report said.
All cars that will be parked irregularly and in designated parking spaces will have official announcements of binding presentations at the police station, where the party will be pronounced a fine for counterinjury.
Reminding them that our goal is not punishment, we publicly appeal to all drivers to observe the standards and regulations of the Law on Rules of Road Traffic, the announcement points out.
