Kosovo secured dramatic victory with a score of 3:2 against Bulgaria in Sofia, within the Group A for qualifications at the 2020 European Championship. This victory causes Kosovo to have only one point less than England, which still has a less developed match.
However, these points are not only being rewarded by Bernard Challande's team for doing the job, as with this victory, Kosovo wins 18.09 points in FIFA rankings. Combined with scores from the draw with Montenegro, Kosovo is expected to continue its performance by freezing even higher in the FIFA ranking.
Kosovo is currently ranked 127th, while Bulgaria is 51st. This ranking is expected to be changed soon, and Bulgaria loses them from the match with Kosovo as many points as they get the “Dardians”, 18.09.
