Thaci: I'll run again if the president is elected by the citizens, if not, goodbye to politics.

I'm not going back to the party. Neither in the Democratic Party nor in any other party. I'm not going back to parliament as an MP. I don't pretend to rerun for prime minister or to lead any Kosovo government mandate”.

The country's first has been praised for the ways the prime minister has been elected, criticising other post-war prime ministers.

“I think that the prime minister of the Kosovo Interim Government during the war period after all, but also with two legitimate mandates from the citizens of Kosovo I am the only Kosovo prime minister to have led with a full mandate won by citizens. All others have been appointed, or in various political congressional”.

Thaci has said he is grateful to the political spectrum that he has voted for the president of Kosovo and that he will continue to be an undisputed unifying factor.

He has also given his political future for them if he will run for president again.

“If constitutional changes and the president's future mandate occur is decided by the direct vote of citizens and I am convinced that he will win, while if the same system remains, he will not allow himself because of the principles and ethics to be part of any calculator or re-election of Pristina political framework”.

“ ...so if the presidential elections are held with the people's direct vote will run and elect another mandate, if not, I will say goodbye to politics forever”, Hashim Thaci said, among other things.
