The results of differences have been the scenes of opposition violence, DP and LSI, against holding elections.

Opposition supporters in many opposition-led municipalities have burned election materials through the Election Commissions.

The political crisis in Albania has begun for weeks now, when opposition deputies handed over their mandates in the Assembly. The political situation has deteriorated even more, when President Ilir Meta, by a decree, cancelled the June 30th elections. The Socialist Party, led by Prime Minister Edi Rama, insists on holding these elections.

Deputy Prime Minister Erion Brace says elections will be held, respecting the country's Constitution and the right of citizens to vote.

But, Edi Paloka, deputy leader of the Democratic Party, accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama that the country is leading to dictatorship.

He says the elections should not be held without a general status-opposital agreement.

The political crisis in Albania and within the ruling party has further deepened the publication of wiretapping by the German newspaper “Bild”.

Deputy Prime Minister Brace sees no evidence that any criminal offense has been committed in these surveillances.

Meanwhile, the deputy leader of the Democrats, Paloka, says that through these tapes organised theft of votes was witnessed, KTV reports.

Analyst Lutfi Dervisi says Albania is heading towards escalation of the situation.

Keeping local elections on June 30th does not view it as a solution to the deep political crisis.

These iron fences are placed in front of the Prime Minister's building.

And in this country, the opposition has warned the next protest, urging Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.
