If you want to be rich, maybe you should consider starting your cosmetic line.
The makeup and skin care industries have helped promote ten out of 80 women on the list of the richest, both billion and billionaire status.
You may be surprised to learn that the most successful entrepreneur in this industry, according to Forbes, is not actually Kyle Jenner but Anastasia Soare, born in Romania.
This lady is the name of Anastasia Beverly Hills' cosmetic line. Soare moved to Los Angeles in 1989, and in 2000 began a line of products for eyebrows. Forbes now estimates its brand of cosmetics at $1.2 billion, slightly ahead of Kyle Cosmetics, KKW Beauty by Kim Kardashian West and Fenty Beauty from Rihanna.
Huda Kattan also makes a list of rich people.
Born of Iraqi parents, Kattan has quit her job in finance to become a model-up artist. She founded Huda Beauty in 2013, and Forbes valued her company at $610 million.
Other billion who can thank the makeup for their fate include two women whose cosmetic lines were purchased by L'Oreal.
Tony Ko sold its NYX Cosmetics brand in 2014 in an agreement supposed to be worth $500 million.
Jamie Kern Lima, a former news announcer, also sold her network It Cosmetics for L'Oreal and became the first executive wife in the firm.
