The Kosovo Olympic Committee has discovered the list of 12 athletes who will represent Kosovo at the European Games “Minsk 2019”, which are held from 21 June to 30 June in the capital of Belarus.
Of course, the most prominent name on this list is that of Majlinda Kelmendi, who first competes in the European Games after being hurt the last time these games were developed in Baku four years ago, broadcast Periscope.
Judo is the most represented sport on this list of five athletes, reports KOK.
Nora Gjakova (categoria -57 kg), current European champion and single medalist at the European Games, will aim to conquer the podium as well as in Minsk.

The other three judoists are, Distria Krasniqi (-48kg), silver medallist at the European Championship, Akil Gjakova (-73kg), Europe champion for U-23 and Loriana Kuka, European champion for U-23 (78kg).
The European Games in Judo sport also serve as European champions. The same is true of the boxing sport, which is represented by four athletes.
European champion for 2016, junior age group, Donjeta Sadiku, and three boxers with bright future: Rescue Bajoku, Patriot Behram and Ardit Delijaj will represent the boxing sport.
Alvin Karaqi, who is attending the Tokyo 2020 Olympic rate, represents the karate sport.
The archery is represented by Ardita Zeinullah as Fatih Karabajaku is completed by table tennis.
Kosovo so far has a bronze medal at the European Games, won by Nora Gjakova in Baku 2015.
In Minsk 2019, the Kosovo Olympic Committee hopes that athletes will climb the podium as often as possible. Kosovo's team travels towards Minsk on 18 June-20 June.
