Kovacic in Chelsea for 50m euros

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who works for Sky Sport and “The Guardian”, has indicated that Mateo Kovacic can already be considered a Chelsea player.

According to Romano, clubs have already reached agreement and everything has been confirmed, the player will sign a 5-year contract with the “Blut of London”.

It will cost Chelsea 50m euros.

Croatian “Mesfusion will sign contracts by 2024 within a few hours”, Romano writes in “Instagram”.

“Chelsea will buy it from Real Madrid for 50m euros. Kovacic allowed to join Chelsea despite U sentence EFA for no transfers, since it's been the last season of loaning”.

But Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea will act like Gonzalo Higuiin, who will return to Juventus.
