In his address, the interior minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ekrem Mustafa clearly confirmed the European path Kosovo has been designated for, at the same time, and thanked the current leader, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for organising this meeting.
Minister Mustafa specifically cited the importance of GIZ-funded projects and other organisations.
Following the surrender of chairmanship by Bosnia and Herzegovina representatives to representatives of the Kosovo delegation, Minister Mustafa took the lead in the meeting.
In his address already in the quality of MARRI's leader, Minister Mustafa, addressing representatives of member states, said among other things that regional co-operation is a key principle and democratic value that should be represented by the countries of the region.
I assure you that with the leadership of Kosovo, MARRI will continue to be a powerful instrument of our cooperation. As many values connect us, what is very important is the common future, the European Union and the cultivating of its values and principles”, Minister Mustafa concluded.
