Anthony Joshua shocked the world Sunday morning, but not for any good reason.
The Briton was surprised by the Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr, who defeated him after nominating him four times.
After the fourth knockout, the judge had to stop fighting because Joshua was unable to continue, writes Perixopi.
And that was in the seventh round, when there were five rounds to the end.
Now it's been realized that a fan had bet a hundred thousand dollars in Joshua's victory, until he had only five thousand in a 29-year-old evental victory.
It is difficult to think of some logical reasoning why someone would do something like that for such a small benefit in relation to the amount invested. /Periscope. com/
Worst Bet Of the Night: A fellow placed a $100,000 bet at a William Hill sportsbook in Nevada for Anthony Joshua to win tonight. It would have netted $5,000 in a win. It paid nothing.
