The recent study at York University in Canada, says that young people exposed to large amounts of words by their parents had higher IQs and better cognitive skills, Klen Kosova reports.
Children, ages two to four, also aimed at having better skills towards noncommunication, such as reasoning, counting, and consciousness.
In addition, the study revealed that children who interact with adults who use a variety of vocabulary knew a greater variety of words.
Researchers suggest greater exposure to the language forces of young people to learn what words and phrases mean.
