Kosovo without flag in Spain, Kosovo Handball Federation reacts

Kosovo U-21 has now learned the lot for the World Handball Championship Spain 2019.

What was not expected, however, occurred in casting lots.

In publishing the name Kosovo in the cast, our national is represented by the logo of the Kosovo Handball Federation, not our flag.

But, the Kosovo Handball Federation has reacted to officials of the International Handball Federation, for its discrimination and not equal treatment at the World Championship in Handball ceremony that was held today at Pontevedra in Spain, our country has been introduced with FHK logo and not with the Kosovo State Flag, as other countries have been introduced.

“We are indignant and surprised by this act of disrespect and not equal treatment of Kosovo as state and FHK. We are surprised by such treatment by the Spanish Handball Federation and the representative at Mr. IHF. For Bertelsen, who led the lot. ”

The FHK urgently has requested clarification from the IHF on this issue, and has called for FHK and Kosovo to be respected as all other participating countries at the U21 World Championship to be held in July in Spain.

FHK has also informed the Kosovo Olympic Committee, from which it has sought to respond to the International Olympic Committee, reported in the FHK response, signed by President Eugen Sarachini.

The World is held in July in Spain -- the country that strongly opposes Kosovo independence.
