Educational tricks to learn from Japanese parents

Japanese kids are great. They are kind, friendly, and never aggressive. In Japan you rarely meet a child who weeps in a supermarket (even though there are always exceptions to rule). Brighton Side suggests we should learn some educational tricks from Japanese parents. Thus, the principal principles of raising children in Japan have been raised.

Mother-child relationship is close

In Japan the relationship between her mother and her child is truly strong. They stay together all the time, and even when they're older, mothers choose to sleep with their children! According to Japanese mothers, there is a rule before the child becomes 5 years old: Let them do what they want! There are parents who think of this as an excessive permit, but they seem to be wrong. This principle makes children feel that they are good. There is a study conducted by American and Japanese scientists that proves that there is a connection between an encouraging style of child rearing and behavior. Researchers claim that the positive attitudes of parents reduce the risk of child behavior and improve the behavior of children with developmental disorders.

Japan's Education System

All men equal. Under the Japanese education system, children are perfect until the age of five, by the age of 5-15 they must serve, while after age 15 they are equal to parents. For many foreigners, this is wrong, or not well interpreted. This philosophy aims to establish a collective society where personal interests are not the most important thing.

Family is one of the most important things.

As a rule, mothers raise their children. They spend a lot of time together: Japanese people feel that children should not be sent to the nursery before they are 3 years old. Parents don't usually ask people to take care of their children and hire babysitters. But children spend much time with grandparents and other relatives. In their dealings with family members, they are truly warm and caring. Families are made up of people who will always support and protect each other.

Parents Are Models

There has been an experiment involving Japanese and European mothers. They were asked to build a pyramid. Japanese mothers built the pyramid themselves and then demanded that their children repeat it. If children fail to build it up, they start to rebuild it again. European mothers explained how to build the pyramid and asked the children to try it. So mothers from Japan followed the rule of doing what I do, while European mothers were asked to do everything on their own and offered no example. Japanese mothers do not make their children do the things they are asked to do. They set an example and show how things should be done.
