Civil society launches campaign against policy party funding

“Amendments adopted in second reading by the Commission for the budget and finance undermine the bill, because they violate the Office's independence for registering political subjects, removing this office's mandate to monitor political parties' finances, including indicating fines. The burden of these functions on a political body such as the Central Election Commission (KQZ) also conflicts with Venice Commission recommendations for strengthening the role of the Office”, he has said.
