The villa proved stronger than the opponents in play-off and reached the final, where it defeated Frank Lamard's team on Monday, Derby County.
The villa triumphed 2-1 with the goals of Anwar El-Ghazi, at the end of the first part, and John McGinn in the 959 minute, while the honorary goal for County scored Jack Marriott (8150).
