The American Embassy reminds the Government that it must remove corrupt officials, as it will leave without visas

After ignoring the government “Haradinaj” over the international community's calls for departure from the official positions of individuals convicted of war crimes, under active indictment for serious crimes and suspected of grave misuse of official office, the US Embassy in Pristina has taken another move.
On Thursday this embassy has decided that these people, who are involved in major corruption cases, should not obtain visas to travel to America.
The embassy has mentioned individuals involved in cases “proto”, Italian visa cases, leaving Dubrava prison, case “Toka” and “Apex”, as well as in other similar cases. The American Embassy in Pristina has stressed that Kosovo citizens deserve a justice system that holds individuals responsible for their corrupting actions.
The US Embassy's “is taking steps to ensure that individuals who are involved in major corruption cases are not issued travel visas to the United States for business or tourism”, the embassy issued communiqué reported. But even this embassy decision has been decided to ignore it. AAK Parliamentary Group chief Ahmet Isufi, for “Zrin” has declared that the Government does not comment on such actions, as they are its policy of states.
