A study found that large doses of vitamin D evidently reduce the development of this type of cancer. Dr. Kimmy NG, the head of this study, has shown about the experiment, which is very promising to treat this type of cancer.
The experiment was done with 139 participants who suffered from this type of cancer and were divided into two groups, one group being given a large dose of vitamin D, and a group was given a smaller dose of it. They were treated with this vitamin up to 14 days.
Patients at the same time were being treated with chemotherapy, which resulted that after tests of cancer, it had not increased, respectively.
Intestine cancer involves thin intestines and colon and rectum. Intestine cancer ranks three, in terms of human contact. According to the American Cancer Society during 2019, approximately 100,000 new cases affected by this type of tumor will be diagnosed.
