A recent study of medical personnel was released yesterday in Britain, where one in four doctors has been diagnosed with mental health problems.
Work pressure moves doctors to become depressed or anxious.
A survey of over 4,300 doctors found that 27 percent of them had been diagnosed with a mental - health problem. Two in five face psychological and emotional problems, including stress, depression, anxiety, and emotional distress.
Women exert themselves more than men, while those who worked more than 51 hours a week blamed their work on health problems.
The British Medical Association, which conducted research, says that work pressure is inciting an alarming crisis to mental health.
Being a physician is a challenging and demanding role, and all too often it exerts great pressure to make mental health suffer.
A third of those surveyed accepted the use of alcohol, drugs, or drugs that they took themselves to cope with stressful situations.
“As a physician, our daily interactions with patients and their families, who are often at the height of their emotional concern, have their cost. We try to do our best for our patients, but often we are not prepared for daily work experiences, we are not prepared when these experiences become unusual”, one of the doctors has expressed themselves.
Unfortunately, in our country there is still no survey or study among doctors in the country, although the pressure related to their work is enormous.
