After showering, our heads usually become brighter, darker, and fatier. So why is this happening, and how often should you wash your hair?
The Root of the Case
Your hair becomes fat for the same reason as your face: Skin glands produce substances called seboom. Seboom is the one that wets our hair and protects them from drying.
The glands producing seboom (called fat glands) are located near the roots of the hair in the skin layer called dermis.
While the answer to how often hair should be washed is different for all, no one should wash his hair every day, according to dermatologists.
