Are you the kind of people who can't bear the noise that comes from breathing or chewing when others eat? You're not alone, and there's a very scientific reason why.
It's a brain abnormality that creates “a hate for sounds like chewing, breathing loud, or even pen noise”, TIME reports.
Although researchers first coined the term Mysophony in 2001, the medical community has always doubted the legitimacy of the situation. But thanks to recent studies published in the magazine “Current Biology”, we can now say with certainty that everyday noise can destroy people's lives.

A team at U.K. Neecstle University has examined their brain scans with and without this “ification”, playing a string of sounds. The sounds were neutral (such as rain or boiling water), unpleasant (a baby screaming or screaming), or sounds like (inhales or eating).
Scores: Researchers pointed to significant changes in the activity of the brain of those who did not endure these noises.” It seems that malfunctioning people have a change of development in the front of their head, causing their brains to react harshly to those noises. This also causes them to sweat and heart rate to grow.

This change in their brains makes them have a higher level of intelligence.
