Finding time to concentrate on acquiring a new skill, learning a software program, or simply reading more widely about the industry in which you work can do wonders for you mentally but also professionally.
New research by LinkedIn has found that the best way to ensure that you are happy at work is by spending more time learning.
Among the professionals surveyed, those who were considered to be people who are constantly teaching, so those who spend more than five hours a week reading, watching documentaries, etc. They had reported being happier, less stress, more productive, and more self - confidence than those who do not spend time learning.
Among other things, compared with those who don't spend time learning, those who keep learning are:
74% more inclined to know what they want to do with their careers
48% more inclined to be happier at work
47% more inclined to be less stressed
39% more inclined to feel successful and productive
21% more inclined to be happier.
