Dortmund loses derby, heading too far

Dortmund suffered defeat at 4:2 at home in the match against Schalke 04. In this match, held in the 31st lap of Bundesliga, the local club remained with nine players in the field because of two red cards, Express writes.

The match started in the best possible way for Dortmund, as only after 14 minutes of play, Mario Gotze advanced the locals to the goal provided by young English talent Jadon Sancho.

After that good start, however, everything changed for Dortmund and the situation turned into Schalke's favor.

This started in the 14th minute, when the penalty point was correct Daniel Caliaguiri. Exactly ten minutes later, Schalke reversed the score and passed the score to a 2:1, through the goal scored by Salif Sane.

The second part began worse for Dortmund, since Marco Reus and Marius Wolfe were punished with red cards. These two cartoons hurt Dortmund's team for this season, in which only three laps remain, since they won't be able to play in the next matches.

These two red cards were given in five minutes (Reus in the 60th minute, Wolf in the 65th minute). Among these two cartons, however, Dortmund suffered another blow, as Caluigiuri again scored and passed Schalke on top 3:1.

Six minutes before the end of regular time, Dortmund turned out to be playing with Alex Whitelli's goal, but their expectations were extinguished after just two minutes, when Breel Embolo scored Schalke's fourth goal of the match.

These three missed points may be crucial in the title race, since Dortmund is now a point far from Bayern on the Bundesliga table. Baiermann has four games to the end of the season, and Dortmund has three.
