An interesting development in attitude towards marriage was reported by the Pew Research Centre, in which the perception of women and men who believe in marriage has changed.
Since 1997, the young girls' high regard for marital happiness has risen from 28 to 37 percent. In young boys, it is down from 35 to 29 percent.
The cause of this change is said to be the strengthening of feminism and the feeling that a man's place in the world is shrinking. Women are graduating in multiple education, passing the number of men at work, and having a crucial word in judicial systems when it comes to divorce or child custody. Enhancing the number of women as homeowners and decision-makers at home has caused many men not to be seen.
Writer Suzanne Wecker, I believe that modern feminism has created this issue that prevents boys from feeling like real men. Women have increased their independence.
She also believes that men feel attacked by the latest feminist ideals and that a culture of hatred of men has deteriorated their work.
Pew Center has found that nearly half of all adults in the United States are married and that the age of men and women who marry for the first time has grown for both genders, Periscope follows.
