Worldwide today is marked by Down International Syndrome Day.
The aim of this day is to raise awareness and information on this syndrome, as well as promote inherited rights of people affected by syndrome to live a life of dignity and to be active and participants who give values to the community and the society they live in.
Kosovo sports also recognises some special fans who have Down syndrome, the Ole newspaper records.
One of them is Koba of Therade.
He attends sports clubs from his hometown, especially the Star in basketball.
Koba is a very kind and respected person in Theranda.
Another special fan is Mayed from Peja City.
The following is a photo of him in the gym “Karagachi” in Pec, looking at the city basketball team.
As seen in the picture, he is respected by those around him who bring him great love.
