Unbelievable. Look who's left out of World basketball.

The China 2019 World Cup in basketball will be this year's biggest sports event, but many stars will be missed.

The reason for this is the new racing system of FIBA, which has drafted the racing calendar, with round- sighting matches throughout the year, similar to UEFA.

However, the world's two leading NBA basketball leagues in America and Euroleague in Europe rejected this racing system and clubs refused to let their players play for national team matches and FIBA had no answers, or mechanism to force clubs to respect its calendar.

This has led many national players with their base in the NBA and Euroleague to present themselves in semi-competitive compositions, and there has been a tremendous consequence of current European champion Slovenia, left out of the World Cup.

Having Goran Dragic and Luca Donci in the NBA, as well as the Kokoskov Seector, as well as in this league, Slovenia was unlikely to enter the qualifications among the 12 teams from Europe that crack for the World Cup, Insport reports.

Serbia secured the plastic today with victory over Israel, in the final lap of qualifications, only after Milos Teodosic decided to abandon LA Clipers in half the season and “created the” chance of playing for the national team.

Another state with the superstar NBA, Latvia, without stars like Bertans and Porzingis, is in danger of falling into qualifications. In fact, tomorrow's and Latvia duel depends on who secures the ticket for China, and who watches the World Cup on TV.

Outside the World Cup has also remained Croatia and Georgia, and especially for the latter, the lack of players from the NBA and Euroleague has had devastating consequences.

If the new racing system is a complete failure FIBA, or failure of the basketball organisation system at a global level, is hard to say, but the World Cup without the European champion is definitely no fun.

The Institute remembers that Kosovo has played qualifications for the World Cup, but has been eliminated in the first phase. Kosovo has finished last in a group with Poland and Lithuania, which qualified for China and Hungary, which was unlikely against Italy.

The China 2019 World Cup takes place between August 31st September September 15th.
