Shpend Ahmeti: AAK requested the dismissal of the education director

With changes, Shpend Ahmeti started last week at the helm of Pristina. He has fired Education Director Jonuz Saliha.

Ahmeti has said this has been the request of the coalition partner, the AAK.

“The AAK asked to dismiss Saliha because it does not represent their interests”, Ahmeti told KTV.

Until Saliha has responded, television finds that the disputes had begun when Saliha had not accepted interventions to register children in Pristina school institutions.

The dismissed director had not obeyed even the top orders of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's party.

Ahmeti has decided to take this director under PSD's clothing and appoint an independent person.

Ahmeti has made other changes. The AAK has taken the inspector and director Brahim Mehmetaj has appointed him director of Property.

Dren Kukane of the PSD has appointed him director of the Social Management Directorate. Valbona Osmani will replace Nora Kelmendi in Kadast.

And Adonis Tahiri will no longer be a spokesman, but the director of the Inspectorate.
